BookingWhat's the best way to make a reservation?
Once you have selected your departure and destination place, just the BOOK button and you will be redirected to an SSL encrypted booking form to enter your details.
Is it safe to book online?
Data from the booking form is secured by encripted SSL connection, book with confidence now!
Will I get a voucher showing my reservation?
Once the reservation is processed, accepted and confirmed, you will receive an email showing a detailed summary about your reservation, as well as instructions about meeting place and emergency phone number that can be used for any last minute question or change.
I would like to amend my reservation after it has been confirmed, changing for example the pickup time. What I have to do?
Just login into MY TRIPS section from Personal Transport homepage and make all the changes you need. Should the changes not be available for on-line submission, just email all the details to the reservation office by answering to the reservation confirmation email: one of our agents will be glad to assist you accordingly. Please read the next FAQ for further information.
May I cancel or modify my booking?
We understand that your plans may change, so we are very flexible about this subject. For reservation modifications we do not apply administration fees, while cancellation can be done in most cases without penalties. For further information about changes and cancellations, please consult our Terms & Conditions.
I do not thrust booking taxi online. Is this really so safe?
Please book online with confidence. Our systems are based on safe procedures up and running since four years, thus eliminating any possibility for mistakes. Booking a taxi or bus with us is safer than phone calling or emailing a taxi company directly.
PricingAre prices on the web site calculated per vehicle or per passenger?
Prices are always displayed per vehicle, not per passenger.
Is the price fully inclusive of toll charges, fuel, vehicle and driver?
Our policy is to give a flat and fully inclusive prices without hidden charges. In some city in Italy it may be necessary to add ZTL fee, a tax imposed by local authorities, but normally only for vehicles capable to carry more than 8 passengers. Actual ZTL fee depends on hotel address, number of nights spent in the city and other parameters that cannot be determined in advance. If your transfer will require payment of a ZTL fee, you will be promptly informed before your reservation will be confirmed, letting you to decide if to keep or cancel the reservation.
Do you suggest to tip drivers?
Except that for transfers in the USA, tips are not expected. Anyway, if you are particularly happy about the service received, a tip to driver will be certainly welcome.
PaymentDo I need to pay a deposit for my reservation?
For most transfers, we do not require deposit payment. A deposit may be required only for tailor-made trips or to secure vehicles with more than 8 / 15 passengers.
May I pay driver by cash money on arrival?
This is actually our preferred way to pay your driver. Just cash money the day of arrival, using local currency (in some country like Egypt or Croatia, also Euros, GBP and US$ are accepted at day change).
May I pay driver by credit card in the car or bus?
For most cities in the world, driver may accept payment in the car by credit card. Once you receive the Meeting Point and contact info, in the reservation confirmation email, you will will be informed if your driver accepts this form of payment.
May I pay the booked service in advance by credit card?
For most cities in the world, driver may accept pre-payment in advance by credit card. Once you receive the reservation confirmation email, you will will be informed if your driver accepts this form of payment.
May I pay by Paypal?
PayPal is normally used only to pay deposits, for the transfers requiring it. Anyway, several drivers accept PayPal also for service payment (please inquire reservation office if you are interested)
If I book a going and return trip, do I have to pay the return in advance, or can I pay half on going and half on return trip?
Most going and return trips are offered with a discount of 5 or 10 Euros and require payment of return trip when going trip is paid. Please don't worry: driver will release a receipt showing the payment and he / she will certainly pickup you on-time at the return journey. Please book going and return trips with confidence!
LuggageDo you require a supplement for excess luggage?
In most cases, we do not apply direct supplements for excess luggage. However, during booking, you will be required to enter the total number of suitcases that you are carrying. In case the specified luggage doesn't fit the vehicle you have selected, you will be automatically upgraded to a larger vehicle at the price of the latter.
Is it a problem if I will arrive with additional luggage not specified on the booking form?
Yes, it may be, because if the luggage will not fit in the available space, driver will have to come back with a bigger vehicle, charging you the additional costs involved.
May I carry large items like wheelchair, folding bikes, skis or scuba dive equipment?
Please specify this need on the reservation form because you may need either a bigger car or specially designed racks to transport these or other larger items. One of our agent will contact you shortly to communicate if there is any additional cost.
Meeting pointWhere I will meet my driver?
With reservation confirmation you will receive detailed meeting point information and driver coordinator's contact phone number, specifying where you will meet your driver exactly (normally: in the arrival hall for airports, at track's head for railway stations, outside the ship for cruise ports or at the address that you have specified in the booking form).
Will I get an emergency phone number to communicate last minute questions or changes?
Surely. After reservation confirmation you will receive an email showing driver coordinator's contact phone number.
Will driver wait for me if the flight is delayed?
Surely. Driver will monitor the flight that you have specified in your reservation and will pickup you after actual landing time.
What I have to do if I cannot see my driver?
Just call the phone number supplied in the reservation confirmation email and one agent will help you.
Will driver wait for me while I collect luggage and walk through immigration / customs?
Your driver will wait for a maximum of one hour after aircraft's REAL arrival time, then he / she may try to contact you by dialing your mobile phone number. In case the driver cannot speak with you, he / she will leave the agreed meeting location and will apply for a "no-show". If case you get stuck for longer time than normal while clearing customs and immigration, collecting the luggage or filling-out a lost baggage file, please call your driver, to ensure he / she will wait for you.
ServiceMay I share car with other passengers?
Our transfers are always private and personal, we do not operate "collective" taxi service. You will not share your car with any other passenger different than your travel companions specified on your reservation form and traveling together with you.
Do you provide infant or child safety seats?
Yes, they are available free of charge to most destinations. On the booking form, please specify the children's age, so we can assist trying to provide the proper seats. Please note that this is a courtesy service, provided free of charge for your convenience and accordingly to laws of each specific country.
